HOTEL PERFORMANCE To the right is an abbreviated statistical presentation of Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) and composite of Average Daily Rate (ADR) for the month of September 2021 versus September 2020. Both Skyline and its competitive set have seen occupancy increase and ADR decrease relative to the prior year. In terms of RevPAR, Skyline and the competitive set saw gains, as the occupancy increases outweighed the ADR decreases. On a running 12-month basis, Skyline continues to outperform its Waikiki competitors with respect to RevPAR.

PROJECTED OCTOBER RESULTS With revenues for October in a decline again, we will fall short of revenue goals for the month. Governor Ige’s announcement that encouraged visitors not to come to Hawaii in September hurt occupancy, with many cancellations hitting our books for the end of September and October. We look to finish the month at about 53% occupancy which is behind our projection of 65.1%.
FUTURE OUTLOOK November looks to be slightly better than October, with occupancy at 43.6% occupancy on the books. December is fairing well with 40.2% occupancy on the books and ADR Currently at $164.33. Year end looks good as the last week of December has high occupancy with ADR at record numbers. Honolulu Marathon bookings remain down, we are hopeful that this will improve as typically this is a busy time for us and Oahu overall. As we head into 2022, the forecast still remains down but we remain positive that occupancy and demand will increase.
PARTNERSHIP NEWS As you know the former Board President Bryn McLeod has resigned and a new interim Board President will be announced soon. Kristie Maruyama was also nominated onto the Board by vote of Board Majority. We thank all owners for their patience and support!
